BUBONIC PLAGUE
a severe infection caused by the bacterium Yersinia Pestis
is transmitted to humans through the bites
of infected fleas and/or by direct contact
with infected rodents, cats, and dogs.

Bubonic Plague is most common in New Mexico and Arizona.

Plague bacteria invade the bloodstream, spread rapidly throughout the rest of a person's body, and if not treated with specific anti-biotics, will culminate in a disease that's often fatal.
